New Firmware for the MZ-16 and and MZ-32

This morning, I got an email from Control Hobbies announcing this new firmware.
I am going to wait a while before I install the firmware. I want to see if other users experience any difficulties.
I don't really use all the items explained in the Release Notes, but the Model Image will be helpful.

I did the Update this morning, everything went fine with the update. I also setup 9 of my models with the new model image widget , that seems to work well. I down loaded the images of my models from this site( https://www.air-rc.com) using the IX12 base image and modified the size in windows paint. Saved the 2 required image/size files sizes to the MZ-32 image folder and setup the new image widget. So i am very happy right now . Nice new feature ..

This is great news.

I really like the option to use pictures in the model widgets.

Is there anybody that know of an easy way to convert the picture files to the correct size and resolution?

I have not tried them out yet.

https://resizeimage.net/
https://www.onlineconverter.com/resize-image

www.air-rc.com will have Graupner radio compatible images as well hopefully soon.

If you have a Windows operating system, you can try either "Paint" or "Paint3D". IDK anything about Apple O.S.
Paint is simple but very limited.
Paint3D is the one that offers resizing as well as cropping . For the attached example, I would not want all the grass that surrounds the model. Cropping allows cutting off that area. If you left the grassy area in, the image of the plane would display smaller.

Before doing anything, you have to know in advance what the image dimensions are supposed to be. Then practice. And, always perform a "Save As" (Not "Save") to keep the app from losing pixels.

I get an error as a result of updating my MZ16. The update gets to the last file and that's where this happens.

SW-R MCU TARGET NO RESPONSE SYSTEM ERROR.

Why?

Are you updating using WiFI or through the upgrade studio?

Will need to check on the error message as I have not seen it before.

For those of you that need help with image creation you can now head to AIR-RC https://www.air-rc.com/ and have instant access to thousands of ready made images for your Graupner mz-16 and mz-32 radios.

They are very helpful with getting images created for you if you provide the proper information.

Keep them motivated and reward them with a small donation for their community efforts.

Apparently this error has something to do with the right switch assembly.

Were you able to update the radio with the previous firmware?

Also, were there any changes made on the switch assembly like changing the whole switch unit?

Updated fine on the prior version. No changes to the switch assembly that I'm aware of.

What are you calling the right switch assembly? Is this the stick.
