DJI's latest Drone has just landed and it's the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. Capture accurate details in any mission with this highly versatile yet compact tool that packs a whole lot of performance upgrades.
With high-resolution thermal and visual cameras, the M2EA supports up to 32× digital zoom and is capable of centimeter-level positioning accuracy with the RTK module. This is going to be the gold standard for commercial inspections and other enterprise level missions. Features include a 640 × 512 px Thermal Camera, 48 MP Visual Camera, 32× Digital Zoom, Centimeter-level Positioning with RTK, 10 km Full HD Transmission and Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing. The M2EA is not listed on the DJI Store so you'll need to fill out a contact form to inquire about purchasing.

On another site there is a guy reporting it from a DJI Rep at £5K or $6800.00 ruffly, take it for what its worth.
Empire Drone out of NY says this: "DJI said it will be "More accessible" in price than the Autel EVO II Dual Rugged Bundle which retails for $9998. We think it will be more than the $7000 Parrot ANAFI USA because its thermal sensor resolution is way better. So somewhere between $7000 and $10,000." So yeah, who knows? As far as who would buy it...All I know is I have seen more local first responder videos fly DJI equipment than any other brand. If it saves but one life, who the heck cares who makes it? Even though our US Department of the Interior originally grounded Chinese made drones (Which I believe was just overturned, seen something lately?) They have always had a waiver for their use for emergency services to include firefighters...but what do I know... I'm not from Wales ![]() |

I’ll buy one! You bet!
I’ll test the Snot out of it. 32x digi zoom plus 4x optical and thermal. Bring it on... Maybe a nickname? Charlie Chaplain? |

Why does it have to cost that much though?

Well, considering that the FLIR camera alone costs close to $5k if bought individually (https://www.oemcameras.com/flir-vue-...-lens-30hz.htm), and the RTK adds cost, too, anything below $7k looks like a gread deal
There are cheaper infrared cameras, but when you add good lenses, high resolution and quality, the cost goes up quickly |
