We had a lil bit of a improv hrouo gathering at rabbit dry lakebed today to maiden my dads draken. Heres a cool video andy took!

I'm VERY sorry I didn't make it to St. George this year....somehow the ARMY got in the way.....

Sorry to hear that he passed away.

Although I never knew him in person, even when I was away from the hobby for a long time I was still following his build threads when I can.

It is very nice of you to name the event after him.

It was totally unplanned except for the fact that I was driving over to witness the maiden of the Draken that Rodger and I (and some others) have been working on. Was a way bigger turnout than what we were planning (some were just locals who came out to fly).

By the way how'd the maiden flight go?

3 flights total. Kept moving CG back a little at a time, but it flew great overall. Here's the maiden and flight #3.
