It was very close!
Needed to prop up with the increased launch altitude.

Nosed it in later on but easily repairable thank goodness!

Question. The guide for the esc says no cap needed unless running 6S. I have no plans to go to 6S so I left it off. Now some are adamant a cap must always be installed on an esc. Thing is I don't plan to run 6S, and the FC has caps and so on already. What are your thoughts guys?

Same rules as condoms If you wanna keep it clean cap it, it may not work 100% but it will definitely help.

You don't have to install it on the ESC if room is tight. I put one on the FC pads adjacent to the ESC/Batt wires.

OK Thanks ZaksterBlue. I'll do that. There's no room in the esc compartment unless I hog it out a bit. I wonder if I did run a 6s, would a 5" prop work and would I even see any difference in speed?

My 65a was rebooting with a f80 above 60% throttle without a call

You mean cap? Was that on 6s? What prop? Battery?

Wow dude. wow. Great engineering work on that. I only got time for a PAN at the moment but got an astromech in there at least.

Finally maiden mines today. Super windy but on stock PIDS and no tuning auto launch on INav was flawless. I chucked it in the air with a side throw with both hands. Rates were a bit slow but auto tune will fix that. Second flight was brief and ended in a nose in crash. I kept getting a failsafe due to rx loss. Need to trouble shoot that. Anyone have an stl file for the battery tray?

Here it is a DXF. You can import this into most CAD software and then just extrude it as high as you want.
