Hey, thanks for starting this thread. I was wondering if Alishanmoa started his own being that he was the first person to introduced it.

My brother just ordered one. I think it's a nice looking little plane. As soon as my brother's plane gets here, I'll decide if getting a already crowded hangar is worth it.

Oy! ordered one , will probably make some build videos.

Already got most of the electronics, Runcam Hybrid HD, emax servos, analog VTX, ESC 50A 7S, motor Emax RS2306 2750kV, this plane will go beyond 200km/h or will explode in a ball of fire trying

Was just coincidentally looking at this earlier. I want it if it'll really go fast. Need to get it in the CZ warehouse though....

I would not be surprised if it's noticably faster than my Dart 250, since it has the ability to carry much bigger lipos, and the 2306 class motors are way less fragile than the 1306 / 1407 / 1806...
Also it appear to be pretty streamlined, with reasonnable stabs and not overly large wing tip cambers.
With a tri 4" and 4S and this motor I expect 200-210km/h, time will tell

It's a good looking plane... And is it really likely to be 6S capable? If so, what size?

Thinking of picking up a couple lipos et al from Hobbyking, with their %10 sale...

ps Also, what KV for a 2306 motor? Ideally, I would actually prefer 5S 2200s over 6S, since I have them...

All planes are 5S or 6S capable, just have to choose the motor and ESC and prop wisely !

I'm going for a 2306 2750kV, that's fairly high because I plan to go with 4S-1300 to 4S-2200, and maybe something like a 5S-1500 for fun at some point in the future. But 2750kV for 6S is too much, unless fitting a tiny prop like a 4" bi or a 3" tri.

If you plan to go 6S I think the proper kV is in the 1600-2100 range maybe ?

I would much rather stick with 4S and 5S like you, as I have a wide range of lipos in 4S and 5S, but not 6S. I have lots of 4S 1300s, but also 1500s, 1800s, 2200s, etc.. And 5S 1500s, 1800s, and 2200s... So if this thing ever makes it to the CZ warehouse, and I will check back and copy your motor choice... Thanks..

ps I also have a bunch of spare 40a, 50a, 60a, and 80a ESCs.. Lots of 6x4 or 6x6 props too, and oh yeah TONS of 5-inch race quad props(2-blade and 3-blade..)

I think I could even yank a Multistar Viking motor 2208 2600kv motor from my (incredibly stupid waste of time) foam-board F-35... How would that motor do? It shreds in my Z-84 on 4S with a 3-blade 5-inch race prop (5152 I think..) I don't mind buying another motor though if need be...

I have been looking at this one also, for once a plane of this size that doesnt look as a barn door at the front with a fpv camera in the nose.

It is a nice looking plane... Wish it were about %30 bigger...

I fly primarily LOS, and I am finding as they get faster, planes up to about 1200mm are just too small to be able to really get the enjoyment out of the speed. Three seconds of WOT, then you have to pull up in order to still be able to see it..

((FPV is still just Chinese to me..(no pun intended..) This antenna on the plane, that antenna (no, I mean those antennas, plural...) on the goggles, no clue about FCs, etc etc.. And I just have not enjoyed my experience with it so far - broken feeds, limited range, etc.. I want a HD quality %110 reliable plug and play FPV experience. Not to be all tense hoping my feed doesn't go out, causing my plane to crash.. l'm just not into all the Macgeyvering that seems required... And anyway, I just like the aesthetics of LOS...))

Well you have missed a lot.....you can start with the ZOHD Kopilot for about 35 bucks and it has return to home also, then add fpv stuff fx dji HD goggles later on.
Although I have piloted a lot of different aircrafts IRL, the feeling you get with that first person view through the camera is outstanding. Try it.

I have… I have Skyzone V2 goggles and a bunch of different other little bits and bobs for FPV. I have just never trusted it… As I said, if it were 110% reliable , plug n’ play, and perfect HD quality, that would be something else. But I don’t know how to get that, at least without paying a huge fortune… The rest of it requires too much research and MacGyvering and it seems to constantly change every couple of months, so I just can’t be asked to try to keep up.

In any case, I like the looks of this plane and I’m sure I would enjoy it just fine LOS… So just waiting till they get it in the European warehouse.

2208 2600kV sounds good to me with 4S !
Thats the good side of having quads and planes, we have millions spares and all sizes of props and lipos and motors
My first flights should be with a light 4S-1300 (if it can balance) and probably a 6x4 so I'm sure there's enough grip, and then I'll see from there.
