Horizon Hobby Electric Warbirds for 2021
Figured I'd get the ball rolling for next year! Post away!

Guess I'll start.
How about a 1.5m bubbletop Jug - built like the Eflite 6s 1.5m P-51 w/oleo-strut retracts, gear-doors, and retractable tailwheel? Joel |

I guess we all just need to copy and paste our last year’s request LOL

LOL! Figured that since a lot of us had fun with the wishlists over the last few years & since I started the 2020 threads last October - I'd get things going for next season!

Bummer. The FMS one looks great & has a lot of nice features - but I strongly prefer the later-model bubbletop Jugs over the earlier razorbacks. I was hoping that an Eflite 1.5m bubbletop Jug similar to their 1.5m P-51 would be next in line.

I too would be interested in a 1.5m P-47. I know how to get one released as I did the same thing with the 1.5m P-51. I will order the 1.2m P-47, order a set of lights, metal gear servos, graphics from Callie, and a bunch of paint. As soon as I get started on the P-47, BAM! there is the 1.5m P-47. That worked for the 1.5m P-51! As soon as I started on my 1.2m P-51, the 1.5m was announced. Honestly, I am probably going to do the 1.2m P-47 towards spring time or next summer. I really love the 1.2m warbirds.
Still hoping for the following; 1.2-1.5m O-2/337 with detachable outer wing panels 1.2m-1.5m B-25 or A-26 with detachable outer wing panels P-40 Spitfire MkI Any 2S UMX warbird UMX or parkflyer sized F-14 F-117, but realize black and foam don't play well together C-47 P-38 S-3 Viking |

Bring back the Balsa ARF's including the H9 Sopwith Camel and D7 and the Great Planes DR 1, all in 60 glow size. Fairly simple to build and power (suitable for gas, glow or electric) and even though they are on the small size, they qualify as "giant scale" due to the biplane rule.

About the same thing as last year year for me.
2S UMX WWII warbirds F-14 anywhere between UMX and twin 70 to combat with the Sukhoi Me-262 up to 70mm with the works from 55mm and up He-162 up to 70mm. 80mm if it’s affordable. 1.0 - 1.5m P-38 with removable outer wings Same goes for a P-61 and OV-10 Hawker Tempest Mk.II. New Corsair Balsa ARFs up to ~50” wing span. Not H9 monsters that require getting a loan. |

I love my UMX P-51 and P-47. I kept hoping the Corsair and Spitfire was next. I would buy either of those right away. The UMX warbirds are perfect in the backyard or the club field. They aren't terribly expensive, fly great, easy to store, and look awesome in the air. My neighbors always get a kick out of the P-51 and P-47 putting on a show in the yard and over the water. |

Honestly, I'd be thrilled with any spitfire from 2s umx up to 6 channel 1.5m , At the high end price will be important because freewing has a lovely 1.6 m mkix and I worry these 1.5m eflites are getting pricey. The mustang is $700 most places up here in Canada! The new v1200 is over $500 Canadian, and I know it has 6s guts and motor but at that price for essentially a 1.2m foam plane I am out. The 1.2 warbirds were in the $300s Canadian for the longest time and even cheaper when on sale. Oh well, maybe those days are over with COVID and inflation. |
