Hi everyone, some peers and I are looking for competitions to get our college to be present. I just wanted to ask if you know any competitions on designing and building our own rc planes. To give you an idea of what were are kind of looking for go check https://www.saeaerodesign.com/
Of course sae aero design is one of the options but I wanted to ask you about any other so we can make a better decision.

MY club hosts the SAE Aero Design events when they are held in Texas.

The next season may not allow large gatherings of students and volunteers and the international travel needed to host the flying competition part of a world wide event, due to Covid 19.

Aero Design will take place in 2021 at least as a design competition, with a written design report and a virtual oral presentation on line. SAE is still examining ways to accomplish the dynamic portion of the event, possibly remotely.

There are are few regional events, like SAE Aero Design Brazil, but not many that I know of.

It is true that there are few events with the real flying part, but definitely is one of the best part of the competitions.
