Overview

RealFlight® is the #1 RC flight simulator in the world! It’s the absolute best tool new RC pilots can use when learning how to fly. It also makes it possible for experienced RC pilots to practice new maneuvers and to hone their skills so they can become even better pilots.

Thanks Jason, looking forward to RF9.5. I just wish some effort was made to improve VR (no improvements since RF8). It's actually not too bad with my Vive Pro. Not so good with my Rift cv1 though (colors are too washed out). Still, a great RC sim regardless imho. Thanks for the update mate.

During the Realflight 9.5 live event yesterday I saw them doing some demos on the new aircraft added. Clearly the one guy, not Matt and not Jason, but the other guy (sorry other guy I forget your name) was flying a CE quite nicely so I was pretty happy to see it was included. However I then saw Jason do a face palm I knew right away the other guy was flying a plane he wasn’t supposed to so he switched it out for another rather quickly, Although it wasn’t crystal clear it sounded like the other guy said it will be available at some point, so I hope he is right. I’d like to fly it in the sim over the winter which is when I do most of my sim time.

I’m just hoping it isn’t put off until RF10 as then I don’t think it will be a free DL for my RF9 will it?

Just bought realflight 9 about 2 months ago.

Wish there was more nitro content. None of the aircraft added mean a damn thing to me. Can we get a smattering of SPA-legal glow pattern ships soon? Kaos, Intruder, Curare, et-al? 4c and 2c preferrably.

Will be nice to get some improvement to the physics engine though, especially with regard to engines(I've found myself having to artificially limit their power by sometimes as much as 70-80% to get them to perform as they do in real life!)

The answer to your question is quite literally the second sentence in the OP. C'mon man.

Yes. it should.... But a better idea if you use Spektrum would to be to go with the "WS2000 Wireless Simulator USB Dongle" and use the radio that you actually fly with.

As long as it's an Interlink controller it should work fine. Personally, I bought the newer Spektrum Interlink DX controller when I bought RF9 and I prefer this.

I have the ws2000 wireless dongle and I have used this with my DX18 field radio but I much prefer the usb Interlink controller. Much lighter, more convenient, no wear/tear on my expensive field radio, and no batteries to charge. Also, with the dongle you only get 8 channels. You get up to 15 channels with the latest Interlink DX controller and it's switches closely match my DX18 field radio.

Unlike people who swear that using your field radio is best, I would just say that it really comes down to personal preference. Whatever works best for you is great imho.

I find the advantage of playing with the radio I fly with on my real planes makes for a more realistic simulation and much better towards actually being at the field.
