Level-flight top speeds of up to 100+ MPH are possible with 4S batteries. Or reach up to 140+ MPH using common 6S 3200–7000mAh packs! Along with head-spinning speed, the V1200 offers unexpectedly stable slow flight and locked-in precision aerobatic capabilities. It's also equipped with a 100-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC, and the BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR637TA receiver that offers full-range telemetry including real-time battery voltage, current, temperature and more when using compatible transmitters.

Experienced pilots can unleash level-flight top speeds up to 140+ MPH with popular 6S 3200–7000mAh batteries! The Spektrum™ Avian™ 100A Smart ESC lets you speed with confidence, knowing all is well with the power system and battery from the real-time telemetry data sent via compatible receivers (such as the BNF® Basic version’s AR637TA) to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters.

Speed and aerobatic enthusiasts will love the locked-in precision of the six digital, metal-geared servos and ball-link equipped linkages. Operational flaps improve slow-flight performance and allow for shorter takeoffs and landings. Electric retracts with sprung wire struts let you fly from paved, packed dirt or shorter grass surfaces at any suitably sized fields. The sleek airframe is composite-reinforced throughout and is molded in new, higher-density EPO that delivers a stronger and stiffer airframe with a smoother, dent and damage resistant surface. Plus it’s factory-finished in a vibrant, high-contrast trim scheme for improved visibility and orientation. No glue is required for assembly, and a total of six screws install the stabs plus the one-piece wing that attaches and removes easily for convenient storage and transport. Exclusive Technologies (BNF® Basic version only) The V1200 is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you don't want to enable the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver normally and only AS3X will be active.

Smart Technology The exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a variety of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.

Versatile Brushless Power The V1200 is factory-equipped with a high-power brushless power system that gives you the option to choose just how fast you want to go. Simply drop in a 4S battery to reach level-flight speeds up to 100+ MPH with the included APC 10x8E propeller and aluminum spinner. Or, to go beyond that and reach top speeds up to 140+ MPH, install a 6S battery—no modifications or upgrades necessary!

Strength and Precision Speed is nothing without the right balance of strength and precise control. The V1200’s stunning and sleek airframe is molded in special, higher-density EPO that results in a stronger and stiffer airframe with a smoother, dent and damage resistant finish. It’s also composite reinforced including multiple carbon fiber spars throughout the wing, fuselage and tail. Plus it’s equipped with digital, metal-geared servos that deliver the precise control and reliability you need to enjoy flying FAST flight after flight.

Functional Features Operational flaps offer improved slow-flight capability and performance while also making it possible to take off and land in shorter distances and at slower speeds. Reliable electric retracts with sprung wire struts make it possible to fly from a variety of surfaces including pavement, dirt and grass.

Bind-N-Fly® (BNF®) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver featuring AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization–3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence so you enjoy a sense of stability and precision that makes it feel like you're flying a much larger, expertly tuned aircraft.

If this is your first model of its type, or you want an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the airplane, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope protection technology built into the receiver. No programming is required. Simply change up the binding sequence as directed in the manual.

With SAFE Select enabled, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling The airplane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It’s also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Assignment—No Complex Programming Required The simple procedure for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't require any complex programming and takes just a few seconds.

If you don’t want to enable the SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver normally and it will function like a standard AS3X receiver.

Cool plane.. Unfortunately I'm sure that in Europe it will cost something ridiculous..

Sounds like somebody was listening in the EFXtra, V900 and probably other threads when I and others were wishing for an upsized version for 6S...

Nice to see them do it, but again, the price is going to be in la la land.

There are a few planes coming down the pipeline at HH that I am really excited about and this is for sure one of them! I love my V900 and will certainly add this one to the collection!

Side note- Jason, well done on capturing true speeds with radar and GPS in levelish flight! Much much better than the Havoc ordeal!

Can't wait to get this one!

This looks really cool, $370 for bnf with AR637T isn't too bad I guess, I haven't looked at recent bnf planes, is the AR637T now standard or is there some other reason for this particular rx?

Although the overall design/outline was scaled up from the V900, the internal structure is all-new in the V1200. It's also molded from new, higher-density EPO, which along with the additional composite reinforcements throughout the fuselage and wing, ensures the strength and rigidity is what it needs to be to handle speeds up to 140+ MPH!

The AR637TA offers full-range telemetry capability plus full Smart ESC compatbility, and also has forward-programming capability like the AR637T (see the video below for more info on how to make that possible!) which is a big step up over the AR636 that was included with RTF/BNF models for many years. Not every future release will include the AR637TA (some will include the new AR630 and other new model receivers), but the AR636 is EOL and will not be included with any new RTF/BNF models in the future.

My biggest issue with all these "reviews" and it looks like a nice aircraft, but all these reviewers are financially incentivized to talk great about the aircraft, not even were improvements could be made or anything negative ... what happened to unbiased and neutral reviews HH? you afraid it won't achieve 140mph like your havoc xe?
