Another home made new body kit have been released! This definitely a fun project car to custom build scale bodies!

49mm smallest full proportional RC car - 1:76 Turbo Racing Mini Cooper (10 min 25 sec)

Dimension size

• Length (bodyshell): 49mm
• Width: 23mm
• Height (bare chassis + lipo): 15mm
• Wheelbase (hub to hub): 32mm

Extra notes about this model

• On 2WD it runs on 'worm' gear rather than standard pinion gear on spur. That means it doesn't coasting when you release the throttle. It drive like a high speed rocks crawler with drag brake.
• Doesn't have any differential gear but still can turn sharp corners.
• Controller have 3rd channel button but doesn't do anything.
• If you hold the back wheel and trigger the throttle you can hear the internal motor running like slipping, probably an intentional feature not to damage the gears like slipper clutch.
• Not much of a racer, stock speed. Ideal if you like to drive around miniature diorama track.
• + A slight dust trapped between front wheel can affect the steering.

ABOUT 1:76 TURBO RACING
Good news for all those nano size lover! This thing is tiny out of box!!
I found out news from local rc community on social media that a legit 1:76 scale full propo is out in the market! Its the ' Turbo Racing 1:76 Finger-Sized Proportional On-Road RC Car RTR'. Looks good on their youtube video. Prices at $50'ish!? Damn! Straight away i swipe my card for around $65 with shipping. Hopefully they start ship it on 20th Sept next few days.

I'll let you guys know when i received it. Hopefully this nano size car will last longer than the short lived Kyosho Dnano. At least we don't have to DIY working on thimble size parts on hotwheel diecast. If its good probably i'll order second and 3rd for Ferrari and Lambo body mods. Currently they have a Mini Cooper stock.

Good to hear they sell without the remote. I heard it bind via FHSS protocol. ..Futaba or RadioLink?
If the car is good i'll pick another second remoteless unit from aliexpress.

Wow! How small can you go that it still keep the proportional system? I think this is the smallest one.
By the way, that radio is quite good. I have it from CR24 crawler.

You have two remotes, Radiolink will go to it, protocol one FHSS ?

I think more likely because mini cooper is the only body shell that can fit 'vertically' bulk size chassis especially the top lipo pack. Any 1:76 hatchback style bodyshell like Ford Escort, Suzuki Escudo, Civic and others might able fit over it.

Unfortunately, no. It's different protocol in FHSS format.
Everything is FHSS nowadays though.

-> Compatible with Hobbyplus, RocHobby, FMS and someRGT/HSP radios btw, proprietary protocol so Futaba and radiolink won't bind to the car AFAIK
