Yes Thayer, I certainly have. The only difference is, I do it the hard way.,A4 tiling.
I strongly recommend your product if practical (depends on where you live on the planet) or getting them done at a copy shop. The problem down here is that unless money is not a problem, the only shop that can handle the larger sheet are a bit expensive. As I have a very robust, old, Canon Laser that still has much of a jumbo black cartridge in it, I Irun the 50 or so pages through it. Greg (Crossbones) uses it as well. Sure it takes a lot of time, but you get to you see everything on the plan several times. The other thing is, I use a pdf editor to set up the print with crop marks (for lining up as you would well know) but I also use the editor to print off single patterns for bulkheads and other components that are to size on the plans. These are lightly affixed for cutting out, then discarded. I've yet to complete Diana, the 110% scale Annie , and this is going to make it even harder. Tough times Unless I'm mistaken I think Gary will be working on a video to support this build. I hope so, anway. |

What size of printed sheet for the full size plan? I've gone the tiled route before and it is so easy to build in error. I live in UK so buying the printed plan is not an option.
I have to admit to running out of storage space but I love building. Regards Bob |

Hi. Bob, our local print shop has no problem with the lengh, they print off the roll, but they have to do two runs for the width, I then have extras printed to cut out and glue onto the ply using a pritt stick, around £25-00 for Annie.

Pilot CutterQuote:
I usually use carbon paper to mark the ply having stretched out the paper thus saving the template. I've built both schooner and sloop so have made plenty of mistakes. Thanks again for prompt reply. regards Bob |

Just so folks know, I can ship internationally via first class mail as well, and refund the difference. Most of our international orders ship via first class, and none have been lost.
I obviously haven't shipped a set yet, but my calculations suggest the international postage for a set of Flyer plans will be about $11.50 for the base set, and $13.50 with the extra sheet that has another set of full size templates. Most folks select the template option to preserve the original plan set. |
