I am looking for a motor recommendation for a Shinto Electric. I would like to use a 4S pack and was thinking a 1110/1.5Y/6.7 with a 15x15 prop. eCalc show this to be about 700 watts. Would an 1107/2Y be a better choice, any recommendations?

Hi Alan,

I would tend to go with the 1110/1.5Y power option---the weight difference between the two choices is small for a plane that size and the larger motor allows for larger props if you need more power in the future.
