Absolutely, can’t wait. Hope the TVs are done well or I’ll have to mod a set myself.

No doubt, I'll admit the larger models do get flown less, ha-ha . The easier models to transport and ones that stay assembled always get more flight time, for me at least.

If a plane stays in hangar queen status for too long though, out it goes, and sold to another owner. I don't like keeping much around that doesn't get used often enough for me to justify keeping it. The models are meant to be flown, for me at least, and not a static display. If I purposely wanted some or all to be a static display and to collect, then it would be a different story.

I dont want to downplay the size of this thing, but looking at some of the comparisons people have posted up - for example the eflite SU - it doesnt look like it'll be too bad to escort out to the vehicle.

Compared to say the AL37 or the B24, where im forever banging the wing tips on the roof, something with a lifting body is much easier to get through doorways and into the car.

I like larger planes/jets. I drive a small/medium size car (Cadillac CTS), and have no issues bringing 2-3 planes to the field. Can fit a large plane (E-flite Su-30, FW F-14 or HSD F-16) on the front seat with wings detached, plus smaller 80/90mm size jet (F-22, F-18, L-39) in the back seat, and a third even smaller plane in the trunk (almost any 70mm / 64mm jet, or even e-flight F-4 80mm fits).
This new Mig-29 will only be a little bigger than the Su-30
Surely the larger planes are more hustle to store and transport, but they are very impressive in the air.

Makes it all worth it in the end!

With a good storage rack system, transport and storage has not been a chore with my big A-10. Made with PVC pipe, it is easy to put together. I am hoping to see some creative solutions to stack the wings and body in a compact, transportable fashion.

No doubt, it makes it easier when all those are set up properly, but I still find it more of a chore for a larger jet that requires that than a jet that doesn't require it. It's not a big deal or difficult, just different.

Its probably not that bad, just pull it apart, pack safely in your car, then un-pack and screw together at the field.

its worth spending the money on a painter's work stand for field assembly that will greatly reduce the effect of hanger rash

I see Justin already posted one of these, but made another one with the vertical dimensions for everyone.

Here's James' measurements for the rest of the world

And for reference, a scaled diagram of the plane against the tray of a Holden VE Ute lol.

Pictures of the Mig next to some other birds to give people a better idea of the scale.

Thanks to Pat for pictures. The F-16 is the HSD.

A quick measure up shows it will fit into a Volvo XC60 with the rear seats down so looks like a goer.
It's a beast for sure!

From Alpha on the OPTIONAL Tiger Tail Decal

“As is our M.O., we wanted to give users a sensible degree of choice for their MiG-29. So, out of the box, the MiG-29 wears standard digital camo on the vertical stabs, pre-installed from the factory. The tiger decal is one large waterslide piece and the rudder piece, and is included in the box, uninstalled. If you want to stay with a standard digital camo bird, leave the model As Is, Out-of-The-Box. If you want to add a bit off flash to your tail, the tiger decal is included, ready for your quick install in a couple minutes.

Out of the box, "0921", port and starboard:”
