Yippee!

Latest addition to my rc fleet

Because of my birthday today my girlfriends parents came to my house with this little heli.
It's very very light and the blades rotates counter clockwise.
It's also quite stiff as it already survived crashes to walls and the ground.
I can already build another corona (as it is stock) but i'm waiting for some small parts which I didn't replaced yet on my BT corona.

I said this wrong, the blades rotates against each other. It's remarkeble stable in the air, like it's having a perfectly setup hh gyro.

And the price was right too, they got it from a hobbyshop which isn't the cheapest around and it was around 80 euro's. That's about 70$ orso i think.

You will like the Wild Wheels, both my buddy & I have them & are having a blast with them. If you tape a dime to the nose, you will get some forward motion & you'll also find that the tailrotor is pretty useless, my buddy has removed his & replaced it with a tail fin & also removed the body & now uses a paper body.

I got mine last week, here is what it looks like, same as the Wild Wheels.

yep that looks like the same thing. And indeed, the tailrotor is VERY useless. It responds very slow and if it is responding then it's too late and not enough.
My living room isn't that big so I was already thinking about a bigger tailrotor, maybe that will make a difference. There was one included with the heli but that's isn't giving much difference.

But they are FUN indeed. Flying time a couple of minutes and loading time also only a couple of minutes.

I don't think slowing down product development is the way to win this battle as the site claims.

Customers will buy the toy that works well and is cheaper. Unfortunately the simple mechanics that make Petter's inventions so stable also make them easy to copy. I empathize with him but can't blame the customers.

Good luck enforcing patents in China. Better to just move on to bigger (litterally) and better (brushless) things.
