In September of the year 2000 I was contracted to fly two 6 meter blimps inside of the Graf Zeppelin Hangar at the Air Base of Santa Cruz in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil...

Fiat was preparing a Mega Event to take place inside of the Hangar for the lauching of the Fiat Palio family in South America...

So we went for 4 days...
Take a look at the pics...

Or Watch the video on this link...
Fiat Zeppelin 5meter... (1 min 44 sec)

What type of controller are you using for differentail directional control? Are you using the transmitter mixing capabilities for this? The computer transmitter allow so much more mixing than the simple analog units. Great to see you doing well. I too have flown twice this week (Wednesday and Friday)and have another sortie tonight. Ain't it a hoot.

I īm very jealous of you... Ed...
I which one day I get to fly in a Convention Center in Ft. Worth...
It is a nice Blimp of yours...6 meter...

The one you see in my post is only a 3 meter Blimp...
I use 2 motors 300 brushed GWS Geared with 3 blade 9x7 props...
For Speed Control I use 2 ES 01 reversable (RC Cars) from Sanwa Airtronics and they are mixed by the TX... by the way this Esc is no longer manufactured any more... but I bought a bunch of them... now I got to Use them...

When you can... post the photos of the work you been doing here... this will encourage others... and maybe in the future this will be a good profession...

We got to keep these Fly Boys occupied and out of trouble...

do you use differential thrust to turn that blimp? I don't see a tail motor, or a servo on the tail.

Yes Dogone1013...
I use 2 reversible speed controls(100%)... one for each motor... one on chanel 1 and the other on chanel 3... and then they are mixed either with a wing elevon mixer or TX mixer...

For me it is OK to fly like that...
obiously it is easier to fly with a tail rotor...
But with 2 motors I have less weigh... less consumption and less assembly and disassembly work... less wires going around and making your life miserable...
But you got to know and be very skilled to fly like that...
