Ft Worth (Texas) Boat Show
Marcus
Followed suit this weekend and spent all day Saturday at the Boat Show here in Cowtown. My little airship is about 2.5 meters in length and a very gentle flyer. The TSS Megan (after youngest grandaughter) made here initial outing and proved a gentle lady and easy to fly if a little underpowered by geared N20 brushed motors. I picked the little rig up from a friend who only flew it once, been in storage for about seven years but she proved herself quite nice. Changed receiver to Spektrum 6 and had to build a coupon drop in a few hours as I didn't get the call to Friday morning for the gig Saturday. Partner and I spent over 7 hours actually airborn for the day and they got their moneys worth for sure. Dropped in excess of 125 coupons on and off during the day plus working two exhibit halls full of boats, campers, and such. The power train will be changed out this weekend to a couple of GWS LHS's to increase the thrust and to use 7.2 Li Polly batteries but other than that she will continue to fly as I received her. Here are a few shots of yesterdays sortie. I about walked myself to death going up and down the isles all day long, I'm dang near to darn old to be doing that kind of work. ed TSS = Texas State Ship (ok I can't help it, I'm a native) ImagesView all Images in thread

Sorry no pictures on the coupon release but for the little bird I made a simple dropper that handled 4 coupons due to lifting capacity of vehicle and time. I'll take some shots when I can, maybe tonight.
On the question of insurance, Lloyds of London is the carrier at present. |

Very nice events indeed Jason...
You can see people looking at your blimp in every picture... this shows that this type of closed event is going all over the world... and this is a Marketing tendency already in many countries... Congratulations Jason... |
