Los Banos Flying Site Update
Dear South Bay Soaring Society,
SBSS member Price Dempler recently visited the Basalt Area boat launch on San Luis Reservoir and spoke with Senior Park Ranger Renee. Renee's duties include both the San Luis Dam and the Los Banos State Park sites. She confirmed that Los Banos was open and if there were any issues to contact her. My apologies. I don't recall any previous club-wide announcement on RCG, on the club website or through group email that the site was open. Otherwise I would not have taken the time to talk to the ranger. A post in a thread that I was not following didn't constitute notification, at least for me.
