What's One Plane You Wish You Could Bring Back from the Past?

I was thinking back to my early RC days this weekend and remembering some of my first planes. What's one plane from your past that you would want to have right now?

What Plane Would You Bring Back?

I was thinking back to my early RC days this weekend and remembering some of my first planes. This was 20 years ago now, before lipo batteries and brushless motors. I started to think how great some of those planes would be today with modern electronics in them. If I had to pick one plane from my past to bring back and update it would be the Zagi 400 flying wing. It was my first powered aircraft after 3 years of flying gliders. I loved it! It would still fly great in thermals and slope sites, but now you could blast around on flat land too. It was incredibly durable and fun to fly. It had a brushed speed 400 motor and a NiMH battery pack, but think how much lighter and faster it could be with brushless power and lipo batteries. Instead of the heavy strapping/packing tape covering, I would paint the foam and cover it with laminate and I bet it would be amazing to fly.

I wanted to hear your stories and see which planes you guys would want to have back from the past. I look forward to seeing where this thread goes.

I'd bring back the Carl Goldburg kits. So sad that Horizon Hobby has dumped those.

I agree...I doubt they'd do well in today's market, but BOY did those planes fly sweet

There's always been a hole for me in being a kid and not able to afford a Kyosho Patricia/Valencia. No idea if they were any good, but used to drool all over it in Eric Fuchs hobby shop in the Burlington mall in Massachusetts.
