Oh- did you do that while I was typing?

OK then slide the shaft in and line up as mentioned above( remember all 4 parameters)-then you can cut a hole for the shaft-slide the shaft into the hull and check everything with the prop and rudder installed-if its good then widen the hole enough for the stuffing tube to slide in-keep checking after each step.

BTW put that protractor back in the drawer-please.

So MACK makes a small shaft strut (smaller in height) called an ST11. The ones MACK sent me are an ST21. I just placed an order for the ST11 which will give me a lower and better angle to the prop shaft.

Sorry Bob, I do like my protractor...

It has been a few weeks since I last posted. My wife and I made several camping trips and we are now back in town. Iíve made a bit of progress building out the upper deck structure. See pictures.

Iíve also received a new set of skag mounts for the boat. MACK Products sent me a set of ST-11ís which are shorter in height. Iíll be fitting to next when I finish with the boats upper deck structure.
