$30.00 shipping is criminal. It should cost about $5.00 to ship.

It is a nice looking plane though.

I wonder why an 8oz. plane "requires" a 380 size brushless?

8oz dry, no servos or motor ect. My iStar is 5.8oz dry and with servos and brushless motor double stator it is 11.95oz.
I like the plane but would recover it. Much better color schemes out there.

When you get it can you let us know what the manufacturer's name is? I'd like to see if I can find it without that high shipping.

Thanks

Great Looking Plane

The shipping is high, but the bottom line is $60. I think that is reasonable for such a nice looking model. I have no idea what it is.

Juan, right there on the eBay item it says "shipped from California".

As for the S&H cost, it's just marketting, playing on peoples' perceptions.

If they were willing to ship to an unconfirmed address, I'd try one. The build quality looks OK from the photos.

Listen, the only reason why shipping is high is because the price is low. ON eaby you can see a camera for 20 dollars, but shipping will always be more then twice the price. The plane looks nice even for 60 bucks so it all evens out.

Please post some pictures and your impression of the plane.
It looks good on ebay but you never can tell till you get it in your hands.
I was looking at one of there other planes the Hot point.
I almost bought it but I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not!
Thanks

Newbie but not too new!!
Not only a marketing ploy but the sellers way of reducing the EBAY fees they pay. EBAY charges Final Value fees based on the items sold price and not on the shipping costs.

Not to get too preachy but I would seriously take a good, long look at the construction before you fly. I would reinforce critical areas with CA before my first flight. I have seen ARF's with pretty lousy glue joints come apart in flight. Its a hard lesson to learn after the fact. Im not the most uptight person when it comes to flying but checking it out beforehand sure beats examining a pile of broken balsa saying "Oh, look, you can see right where it failed". Then trying to call China to get a replacement. Just my opinion.
