wonderful super light & stable camera that is ideal for FPV ( 5 min. Recording) can be mounted on both small & large RV aircraft.

Looks pretty cool, especially coming from such a tiny camera.

There is a lot of 'wobbling' going here and there though; vibrations meet high shutter speeds?

AndyRC tried one too on his quads:

And he too had jello problems.

Overal the stabilisation is pretty impressive.

You must be really glad that you can now record 5 min 'FPV' clips

The main reason I purchased this camera

Yes indeed. Prior to this the max recording was 1 min.
Today flying the Cherokee over some very bumpy winds. On one flight I spent too much time on the ground with the record on & used up all the memory on 1 clip.
It was great fun

Kinda weird that in the frontal view shots there is quite a bit of 'wobble' going on, while in the tail and wing views there is hardly any. Depends on the way the camera is mounted? Or maybe on what material?

Yes. I now use 3M double sided thin tape rather than the Velcro . Velcro wobbles about too much but the tape is solid as.
I will keep looking for an alternative but, as you can see, you cannot have anything in front due to the wide angle lens. Of course you can change the view settings.

Beautiful plane.

How is the workflow on the Insta360 Go, especially combining multiple views plus shots from other cameras.

I really don't like to be so reliant on a phone when it comes to cameras

Workflow

Found the insta app great to trim the footage & format to FCX for editing. I only use the iPhone to check the shots at the field.
The little self adhesive ring I use to mount the camera on aircraft works quite well & so secure.

You do basic go and 360+reframe edit, though Insta360 software is quite good and regularly updated as well as their desktop counterpart.

OF COURSE to make more complex edit adding other cameras, you need something else.
So far pretty happy with insta360 soft update + their customer service (they sent me free of charge a replacement battery for the insta360 one X after mine swallowed after 15 months of use).

Can you get the files off your phone rightaway on your computer, or do you always need to go thru the Insta360 app to convert them first?

Just tried, yes, you need the camera in the recharging cradle thanon top of that -> usb connection to the pc and then you can access the files like a regular sd card connected to the pc.
You still need to address the 2700x2700 file somehow, it can play like a superfisheyed on VLC but on Insta360Studio 2020 free desktop software is fine.

Have not tried if can also do camera alone through bluetooth to laptop.

The Twin Otter using the insta 360 GO

As mentioned , I check the footage at the field then at home transfer each, trim & save to the Mac on the converted mp4 files ready to complete full editing.

Great steady camera with the RC Jets & Prop aircraft bouncing around....here is the latest
