Colibri 1.0m V-Tail Glider by ArtHobby

I bought this one from ArtHobby :

http://www.arthobby.com/index.php?pa...ry=31&item=252

Here's another website:

https://www.pp-rc.de/arthobby.htm?sh...ionId=&a=catal

and here is the website for the manufacturer in Poland,

http://www.arthobby.pl/szybowce/product/colibri-v-1m/

It is a very nice lightweight model at a very reasonable price

Below are some self-explanatory pictures of mine ...

Here's a short video (taken by my wife with her phone) of how mine flies on a hill in Turtlerock (Irvine) a short walking distance from my house,

Wing detail,

Ailerons carefully cut out with a fresh razorblade give a nice clean cut,

Used four HK 4g analog servos : https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigyt...0sec-4-4g.html

Fuselage detail.

Used a reliable Hobbywing ubec, a Corona s-fhhs compatible lightweight receiver, and a long thin Tattu 3S lipo.

Some more comments :

* Ailerons were cut out cleanly with a fresh razorblade

* Minimal amount of epoxy & minimal wing finish to keep the weight down (dry California weather)

* Weight RTF is 251g

* Servos were 4x turnigy nano 4g 1440A, $4 at HK

* Receiver is a lightweight slim Corona S-FHSS Futaba compatible, 6ch & s-bus

* BEC is a lightweight Hobbywing ubec

* Long and thin Tattu 450mah 3S battery is the only one that seems to fit in there.

* I have lots of Aileron to Rudder mix to help in the turns

The Tattu 3S 450mAh LiPo battery (16x21x63mm) I am using is the one recommended by ArtHobby (for good reason ) :

https://www.racedayquads.com/product...xt30-long-type

paired with this recommended ultra-dependable HobbyWing UBEC (which I already had) :

http://www.arthobby.com/index.php?pa...ry=94&item=474

which is also available at HobbyKing, Bangood etc .

My first glider. The Colibri is what got me started in slope flying, But be careful, I'm completely out of control now.
Outstanding build.
