The park near 7200 S and 1000 W once had a pond west of the grass. I don't know if its still there. I used to fly there a lot.

The SLC parks people will be doing a walk through of the proposed model port site at California Ave. on July 10. A good showing of warm bodies would be helpful. I believe the time is 10am. Maybe someone from the Utes can confirm.

Not a Ute-only event but Mr. Rick Graham from Salt Lake City Parks & Recreation will be doing a walk through of the proposed model port site. The address is 7500 West 1300 South on the south side up on an old landfill.
Feel free to invite non-Utes out that used to fly at the old field site and come out to show support for the new model port.

Come fly at Taylorsville Park, its off of 2700 W and about 4800 S. I've been flying there for a few months and I really like the field. They have a big field to fly in and good grass for take offs and landings. I hope to see you there. I fly the big 84'' Carbon Z Cub .
