The car in question is a Remo Smax and i used the following parts:

Motor

The car feels fast and powerful but i think i am having an issue with the Flysky-FS-GR3E:

If i leave the car running and turn off the iRangeX Transmitter the car stops which means i have setup successfully the failsafe but when i turn on the transmitter for the few 1-2 seconds that the transmitter boots its firmware the car turns on throttle full blast and stops when the transmitter is finished booting, whats up with that ?? i have lots of models with an FS-GR3E receiver and never had an issue.

Its the receiver malfunctioning ? did i program that behavior by mistake ? any ideas are welcome

Sounds like you need to reset the fail safe per the instructions with the radio.

Never a good idea to have the radio off unless the car is turned off first.

The way i set the failsafe is by pressing the button on the receiver.

When i drive the car and turn off the transmitter the car stops, but if i turn on the transmitter again the car drives away full blast for the little time the transmitter takes to boot.

Very weird issue. My receiver is afhds and the failsafe is set only from the receiver. The only failsafe setting i have on the transmitter is for afhds2

Could the problem be the IRangeX controller ?

Nobody can help ?
