HIMAX 2812-850 on 8 cells
Recently bought HIMAX works great on TP 2100! Have a bunch of Kan 1050 8 cell packs laying around. Was wondering what was best prop to run and what kind of power is possible? Thanks for suggestions.

Well.If your 2100's are 3s your losing almost 2v with the Kans and dropping your capacity in half so you may be a bit dissapointed w/ 8 cell Kan's.

Your 8-cell pack can probably maintain ~9v under load, so I reckon an 11x7 GWS HD would be ideal; should draw about 11.5A (~105W) and get you about 600-625g (21oz-22oz) thrust @ ~35mph. Of course your flying time may be cut almost in half, but you might as well make use of the packs you have!
