I'm looking to buy a used Spektrum Dx6i or Dx7 for a reasonable price from someone local. If you have an old one laying around let me know.

This one is clear up in Roy but an excellent deal if he still has it. DX6i for $80

Or go this route. It's almost exactly the same radio but better, in my opinion. I have a dx6i and I would rather have this one.

Agreed! I would also suggest looking at a Taranis: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1866206 if the budget allows its unbeatable...
