Thread OP

Are 1.2ghz Tx and Rx any good.

I found this website that sells these 1.2 ghz Tx and Rx at a great price. Is that frequency good. The problem with BW is that it seems a little too much for what they sell.

The frequency is just fine, BUT you need a HAM (Amateur Radio) License to operate here legally.
What is the website??

FWIW, the allowed amateur radio band in that RF region is 1.24GHz -1.30GHz. From all reports, the low cost imported "1.2Ghz" wireless transmitters operate well below that. Usually around 1.18Mhz or so, which in the USA, is reserved for Aeronautical Navigation frequencies. So, the ham license will not help out. On the other hand, BWAV sells 2.4Ghz equipment that can be used with your ham license.
