Is there a way to associate 1 of the 2 control knobs on the TX to a channel at the RX. I know that channel 5 is variable by the internal gain setting at the TX and that channel 7 is controlled by a switch but is the TX capable of assigning 1 of it’s knobs to provide variable control settings to one of the channels at the RX. If so how do I set it up?

in heli mode, the two knobs are assigned to hover throttle and hover pitch control. in acro mode , vr2 is assigned to channel 7. you cannot reassign channels on eclipse. evo or jr 9303 on the other hand, you can program it any way you want.. I think my next radio when I need one will be an evo... not for couple years...

Does this apply to a FP heli?

you can use either heli mode or acro mode with corona. I use heli mode, as it allows easier control of gyro gain. you could use acro mode with FP heli, if you want to control lets say channel 7 and VR2 for the co pilot. use flap channel for the gyro control.

in heli mode, channel 7 is assigned to toggle switch. so, if co pilot can be preset with on/off, channel 7 can be used.
