Can "Smoovy" Linear actuators be adapted as micro Servos??

Hi Guys:
I just stumbled on these great looking miniature linear actuators made in Switzerland. Can they be adapted for our use? Can their controller be used? Could a servo contoller from one of our "Standard" micro servos be adapted???...Worth a look at the web site...They also have Micro motors and gear motors. I have no idea what they cost.

They can (and have been AFAIK) be used for our purposes. They can be run as steppermotors which wil give you positioning control. You need a special controller for that though and the Smoovy one is probably too big for us. They are also a bit expensive.
