Late 90’s fun fly plane??
Back in the late 90’s , NASA let us invite flyers to the Kennedy Space Center open house, to fly at the Shuttle Landing Facility. One year a guy brought a thick wing fun fly built almost entirely of carbon rods with a couple of flat pieces up front for engine and wheels. The engine Was an Enya 40 bb, that had been lightened throughout. Does anyone remember such an airplane? Was it a kit? One off? I was flying most of the day with a buddy box inviting anyone that wanted to try flying, and I didn’t get a picture of it. The wing was very thick and it was covered with transparent monocoate.
