1103 Motor Mount for pusher applications

Available for NON Commercial purposes !!!!!

1103 etc motor mount for pusher applications .

Wings or DIY RC conversions .

Simply make a hole , and push the mount into the hole with glue . Dont get much easier than that !

If it flies, I can crash it.

More likely, the mount will break where the shaft meets the flange. 3D printed structures are subject to delamination along layer lines. Tall narrow features tend to be fairly fragile. The trick I use is to print the mounting shaft with a 2mm diameter hole down the center. And then, I drive a 2mm machine screw in to the hole (from the motor side) so the shaft and flange are reinforced with some steel.

Like this extended prop adapter for a Horizon BL180 brushless. This wouldn't survive the first prop strike on the strength of the plastic alone.

I dont know !
Mine seems rather strong ..
It's plastic . so I am sure if you use enough force it will break .

But for a 1102 / 1103 / 1104 / 1105 , it should be ok .
Especially in a pusher application .
Is it crash proof ? = Probably not , but then most likely neither will be the plane .

The amount of time and filament that goes into one of these , is nothing !

I hope to design a small Ail / Ele / plane just to test this mount ( Whoa !!!! ) Wait .. I might already have something .
There is a FF jet on my wall , FMS Alpha Jet ...
Sounds like a plan

That is a pretty sweet motor mount!
Thank you for providing that for others to use.

See you in the Air!

Been trying to find small electrical motor mounts .. ( He-bay / BG etc )
Not much to chose from , since the 11's are one of my fav motors . I decided the first mount should be 11 size and embrace the KISS principle . Had to be very easy to print out , relatively strong for purpose and imminently useful .
