I remember a kit that was made by "Bridi".

Ted Davey marketed a semi-scale Miss Los Angeles many years ago. About 44" span. It was designed for Astro 05 Geared Cobalt power, so it's lightly constructed. You might find one on E-Bay.

Here's a P-nut version. Maybe you could enlarge it to whatever size you need.

Just putting the finishing touches on the one from Walt Moucha plans. I'm very happy with the plans and the plane is gorgeous. I have a Saito 150 on spark ignition in it......covered with Solartex and dope painted. It came out at 14lbs. dry. I would highly recommend the project.

I know that this thread is over 3 years old, but I just came across it. I have a Bridi Miss Los Angeles... I'm contemplating building it.

Does anyone else have this plane? I could use one or two pages of the instruction manual, otherwise my kit is pretty complete.

Greg has this plane based on the Bridi kit. Fiberglass fusealage foam core wings. I have been thinking of doing this plane.

Thanks a lot... I think that the Walt Moucha model might be bigger than I was thinking of. I'll also check out GL Hobbies. I've been afraid of chopping up my one and only cowl in case I botch it.. Would like to make a built-up wing instead of the foam one included in the kit. I might make both, just to use the foam wing as a 'practice' wing...

Thanks,

Bob
