Fun 3D Print Project

If you are running out of projects and are still working on your smooth landings, then this might just be the thing you need. All it takes is a 3D printer and some hardware, or if you don't have a 3D printer, you can use one of the various 3D printing services available on line that can print and send you the parts. Once you get the parts, you can assemble the units to create a nice looking shock absorbing landing gear system, including a steerable nose wheel. The strength of the design is unknown and likely depends on the quality of the materials used to make the parts, but for the right plane, this could be a fun project to help smooth out those rough bumpy landings. Let us know how it turns out if you decide to make a set. Files are linked below.
