Hi GorillaBob,

I did test the prototyped full range 2.4GHz transmitter, 6 Ch one, on my desk during the fall of 2010. Obviously, GWS R&D did work it out 10 months ago, but I have no idea why they stopped working on it further.

WOW! That is crazy! All these Beginners that are purchasing Slow Sticks to learn to fly and I am unable to sell them a 2.4ghz full range radio from the maker of their new plane and the radio has been designed but stopped there?

Well, it's off topic.

Australian Kensp successfully applied this radio on his airplanes including Slow Stick and GWS Me-109 at least. In my idea it's better to fly Slow Stick using this 2.4GHz radio within 500 feet in the air.

I had no range problems with either the Slow Stick or the Me-109 when using the GWS 2,4 GHz radio.

Hi Ken,

Very nice to know that, thank you !
The R&D manager and I thought that this radio is good for flying Me-109 sized park flyers, while beginners might forget to keep their Slow Sticks within the range owing to its size.

S03N3 S D MG 2BB Test datas just measured as below:

4.8V 0.180sec 29.5kg-cm 3800mA

6.0V 0.152sec 35.0kg-cm 4900mA

7.4V 0.119sec 41.0kg-cm 5400mA

8.4V 0.111sec 43.0kg-cm 5700mA

Guess this is the best brushed core motor standard size servo among all!

Hi Ktm500mx,

The GWS S125-1T servo will come back in stock within next 2 months. And there have been
many mult-turn sevos available. S-125 1/2T, 2.5T, 3TD, 6TD and 12TD etc.

With no new planes in several years, and not even old planes available anymore, what do you think?

They still make servos... their main early years product when GWS stood for Grand Wing Servo, not Grand Wing Systems.
