No, not unfriendly people at all... just people who come here looking for discussion of GWS planes and equipment. Your post about global warming has absolutely nothing to do with this forum's topic, but this other forum here on RCGroups is perfect for your issues: https://www.rcgroups.com/life-the-un...d-politics-22/

I'm sure if you post your concerns with global warming there, you'll get plenty of discussion, but not here.

and now..... back to GWS topics.....

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=692955

GWS will planning to to work on a new programe similar to Early Birds.

The "Longly Birds" will provide GWS products to anyone flyer arround the world under the following conditions:

1. There did not have an importer in your country sell GWS.

2. The importer do not carry the exactly items of GWS products you need.

3. The importer out of stock for a long time for such items, yet did not booking to GWS so far.

Wish this will make every one happy to get GWS products on time in any conners of the world!

The detail, pls contect GWS service@gws.com.tw

Will be post on GWS web soon.

Well Done Mr Lin,
That's what I call customer service! Generally, in the UK, we have J Perkins - although they do not always have what we want (No FW 190 yet). I am sure that many others around the world will be very happy.
Best Regards
Ratty

I'm trying to decipher how this will apply here in the US, if it will at all. We have an importer, but how will the purchaser know if items 2 or 3 apply? I can almost never find a GWS product at my LHS (Hobby Town), and don't want to wait for them to see if and when they can get it. So, I buy from an online store, but often I can't get everything from just one vendor without them also having to order it in. So, I buy from more than one place, and pay the shipping from each. I know you don't want to short circuit your supply chain, but how nice it would be if GWS had their OWN web store with EVERYTHING in stock! I can dream, can't I?

So, Mr Lin- the GWS-15 is in production, and the GWS-40 is getting ready for the early birds. Any teasers on what's planned to come next?

Prototypes have been built of the Dornier 335 and the Grumman F6F Hellcat

I really hope its not the Hellcat - it would be yet another case of GWS doing a model we can already get elsewhere when there are so many great aircraft to be modelled that no-one else has done yet.

And I know I'm in a minority but as one who flies without landing gear the 335 doesn't excite me that much either, two motors, maybe bigger batteries and two props and a fin to get wiped off on landing

Edit - OK ignore the BOF (again) I just read Mr Lin's latest announcement. A4 I don't care about but U2 (even in cartoon form) is good and WWI bipes is great
