First test hover was yesterday. Was a little rough at first, but by the end of the day my pilot buddy was getting it under control. Still needs a few tweaks before we test it for normal flight. After we get the flight controller dialed in, it should be a nice flying VTOL Slow Stick.

Thanks. Here's the link to the build thread, such as it is -- Slow Stick VTOL with V-Tail -- Basically, it's a Slow Stick modified to a tricopter configuration. It uses a KK 2.1.5 Flight Controller with OpenAero VTOL 1.5 firmware. The front motors are tilting 2212s, and the rear is a stationary 2215. It uses 5 servos, two for tilting the front motors, two for the ruddervators, and one for the yaw control vane under the rear motor. Weight is a little under 2.9 lbs.

The 9x4.5x3 props are a pain to find. Sure wish they were more easily available.
