i like the idea of using the fms blades in a custom hub. Andy, are you able to send the specs of the blade hub if you have a blade lying around? width, length, hole spacing and size.

i used regular pla back then. i know there is other materials available now but i have not done any testing with those.

i see what you mean with the main gear. ill see what i can do.

I think the standard is 300x300x400 for the CR-10 and 220x220x350 for the Ender 3.

i agree, for this size model 30x30x40 is needed otherwise you'll be printing out 100 parts. see how i go. ill cut it up for the 30x30x40 at this stage and cut it up more as we progress.

Hi Chambo88,

I will be updating the request you have for the Prop Hub and cover do expect a lengthy and detail explanation.

I will explain from Eg. Picture 1, (which means picture uploaded 1st from left to right).

Hope you would get the measurement right.

here it goes,

On the Picture 1, I've measured the Hex Female size, It's 10mm size
On the Picture 2 , I've measured the middle hole for the motor rod side, It's 9mm size

(on Picture 3 & 4, as you can see the Hex design is to lock the Prop Hub in place to have no play for the Prop Hub and the Motor to have a full efficiency while in operation)

On Picture 5, As for the Screw in Main Prop Hub, The proposed Hex nut is measured as, (Proposed to have 14mm Hex Screw)
To glue into the Prop Hub
On Picture 6, The diameter for the Female Hex nut measured 9mm size

So to say, it will be a screw on Mechanism for easy switching when wanted to do maintenance, as well as a overall tight
(As you can see on Picture 7 & 8)

To be Continue.....

This section will be Prop Main Hub and Prop Secondary Cover.

For Picture 9, is the design for the Prop Hub main plate.
On Picture 10, As you can see the Hex Nut diameter measured 6mm, and outer circle 7mm.
From edge to edge measurement, It is 17mm from the beginning outer circle measured to the end outer circle.
On Picture 11, As for the front Prop Hub base, it is measured 20mm *With Flat surface* as you can see in the picture.

On Picture 12, is the design for the Prop Hub secondary plate (cover).
On Picture 13, Measuring from the leading edge, to the end edge of the 2nd screw hole, The measurement measured 17mm
On Picture 14, Measuring from the Leading edge from the First screw hole, The measurement for the Screw hole is 6mm in diameter, and the Hole is 3mm.
On Picture 15, Taking the measurement from the inner flat surface measurement for the Prop, Measured 18mm of Flat surface, and 19mm Round Lip.

On Picture 16, you will see that the flat surface on the Prop Secondary Cover
On Picture 17, you will see Both Hub closed together.

To be continue... (Prop Measurement) on the next Post.....

here's a pic of the updated main gear door.

the nose gear doors operate on a pair of 2mm pins which will slot in and be glued in place.
