I swapped out the stock wheels for a set of 3-1/2" Robart Low Bounce Diamond Tread wheels. They needed to be sleeved for the stock axels and needed 2 - 5mm spacers each to get them properly centered on the struts.

These softer wheels made a HUGE difference on my landings. No more bouncing on my wheel landings and touch-n-goes. I'm a happy camper!

I just did mine too...although I didn't have any sleeve tubing so I tacked the largest bushings in the wheels and drilled them to size, really like the way they fit.....

I think using and drilling the bushings may be an easier and much simpler solution than using the sleeve bearing. Thanks for working that out and posting.
