Is the transmitter programmable-like the throttle is end pointed back to 75%...of course also give it full up on the throttle trim-when you changed out the trx/rcvr did the motor run backwards and you had to reverse the throttle setting?

This is a common issue for these boats now when bought new. The throttle is backwards on the TX and there is no provision to reverse direction via a switch or whatever. If you try reverse, you be surprised to find that's where your power went.

THE FIX is to open the transmitter, unplug the nearest of 2 white connectors that leads with 3 wires to the throttle trigger potentiometer, remove the red and blue wires from the plug and swap their locations, then plug it back it and close the TX case back up. That reverses throttle direction on the transmitter.

Then finally, open the boat, unplug and swap positions of any 2 of the 3 motor wires to reverse motor direction. That will return 60% power to reverse and 100% to forward throttle.

See photos for details.

The try reversing the throttle channel, and then if the boat runs in reverse try switching those two motor wires.

Also, try setting the throttle range for the new TX.

Unplug everything, Turn on and HOLD DOWN the throttle on the TX (full throttle), then while still holding the throttle at full, plug in the boat, as soon as it makes a noise or set of tones indicating max. throttle set, release the trigger to reduce the TX throttle to neutral. The ESC/motor will then make another sound or tones as it sets neutral position and then goes into run mode. Then unplug the boat followed by turning off the TX. This works for most ESCs.
