Dear All,
I'd like to present to you this gadget, which can be a quite useful training equipment, and is capable to organize, and time complete races.
Cloudlaps is developed by a small European team and is currently manufactured in house, so it is designed, manufactured, tested and supported in and out of Europe. It is Cloud based, so there is no need for an amazingly expensive decoder purchase. Ideal for bashing around on a makeshift track in the back yard, or a full-on race on any onroad tracks. It works with magnetic sensing technology.
Currently, there are 2 types of transponders in multiple colors. The basic can read lap times, whereas the pro can read up to 9 sector times as well, great to map out a track, and to find out, where you have to get faster, how quick the pit stop is on a nitro race, getting better on one particular double, the possibilities are endless.
We wish to open this as a thread, where you can directly ask questions from the developers, and the testers, to have solid information from the closest source. Also, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,
One of the perks of having R&D and manufacturing in house, is that we can advance on the development of the product with a pace, that we deem fit. After getting all the feedback as we went along, we understood, that we have to create a version of the system, where we are not bound to the internet, simply because there are a lot of rc tracks, where there isn't any. Therefore, we are developing an emulator( Beta testing currently in progress), that ties together our system, with the most popular, currently used rc timing systems, may that be a simple, free software, or your official licensed product. So, in a short time, you will be able to choose between the internet bound CloudLaps webapp, or you can use an offline software on your own pc. This will turn to production in about a month time or so, you can expect our product range extension in our webshop around mid March. Price will be a bit higher for the offline version due to additional costs, but, they will still be affordable. What they not going to be, is they are not going to be licensed, no renewal will be necessary for the offline system, only if someone would like to keep both the offline and the online capability, because they will be parallel to each other. But this is not all. We realize, that not everyone have a laptop, or licensed time keeping software, and we still would like to offer the same convenience with the offline solution, as with the online one, therefore we begun to develop an offline phone app, that you will have to download from the app store, install it, and use your transponder. We will publish more information as we advance with the development. This release can be expected in Summer. Stay tuned ![]() |

Hello everyone,
We've officially launched the offline product line with 2 transponder types, one with and one without the capability of the sector time measurements. As an introductory sale, for a limited time, we offer the plus version ( the offline capable one) for the same price, as the base models. Feel free, to check out the shop, and the virtual decoder below. https://cloudlaps.com/cloudlaps-virtual-decoder/ As usual, any feedback is much appreciated |

Hi Everyone.
We are lucky, the pandemic situation over here is acceptable, so we were able to do a closed-door training day, this time on Tarmac, with 1/10th scale touring cars, and F1. Check out the article on our website: https://cloudlaps.com/albaring-practice-16-05-2020/ |
