Traditional wood build F-14A pusher plans

Hi pusher fans! I am about to start selling plans to build an F-14 pusher which is a totally wood build for all you traditionalists.

Firstly, there are no CAD drawings,I won't be supplying in electronic format of any kind, these are hard copy plans of the 'old fashioned' type.

The model uses a Mega 16/15/4 for power, the motor is buried inside the fuse, and a simple carbon shaft is used to extend the prop to the rear of the airplane.

I had done a huge build thread before, with all the relevant build info, so will dig up a link back to that thread for you shortly.

The model is bungee launched, flies like a dream!
You can get plans from me, and moulded clear canopies if required.

Here is a pic.

Let me know if interested, and you can get them with PayPal.

Hi Matt,
don't forget to move the motor hatch to the bottom on the plans. That has worked real well on mine.

Thanks guys!

Well, as is usual in life, you never seem to get the time to complete things in the time frame you have planned, sio will be a little longer in coming along. However, I have managed to get the plan reprinted onto master copy paper, which is great, as all I need to do now, is scratch away the EDF info on the drawing, and add the drive system details, plus some detail relating to the swing wing. Not too much to do, the canopy master plug is ready to go, am out of plastic to mould them from my stock pile, but that will be easy to get hold of.

The plan price will be set at 10, and the canopy price not decided yet....anyway, to make it worthwhile doing,if anymore of you guys out there want a pusher F-14A plan, please say so here.

Best regards,

Matt

Hi Matt
Count me in please - only hope I would have time to build it - my Buccaneer is still only paper cut outs! Found out my son's school has a laser cutter, now I wonder.......!
As an aside - any news on the larger Bucc??

Hi an update. Sorry guys, I'm withdrawing the sale of the plans in .pdf format-should have thought about it more seriously before, but am worried that it will just get spread around, so sorry

I will still be able to supply hardcopy plans with a canopy, but the way things are going with work and all, it looks like it will be longer than estimated. However, they are coming!

Am still altering my EDF plans to make them pusher friendly, so stay tuned.

Matt

P.S Muah, bungee only I'm afraid, no room for gears, plus the prop will strike the ground when rotating, so no can do.
Thanks for your kind comments guys, it will be wrth the wait.
I wonder if Dan Eaton has flown his again since? My next outing with it will be at the Bickley event on 7/8th May.
