Electrons were young...
Looks to be another low watt charger with "100 watt total", so nothing more than two 50w chargers in one.

The selling price will determine if it is even worth it.

I was thinking it, I'm glad you said it...

Cute design (SkyRC T100), but people will buy this "powerful" charger and wonder why it can't charge two 3S or 4S packs at 5A. SkyRC do a 200W version (T200), which would probably have made more sense.

I hate charger marketing, always intent on manipulating the masses. Too many do fall for it and as Bill said, see that it does 4S and 5A charging, but it can't do both.

Also
Discharge Power: N/A

So you can't discharge packs using this? Even slowly this has always seemed like a basic functionality of chargers that it should have. Maybe a typo?

Ill fix it, forgive my rough math

2S charging: 5A
3S charging: 4A
4S charging: 3A

It has a storage mode (which presumably must be able to discharge slowly?), but no specific discharge mode. SkyRC's 200W T200 does have this, although it's restricted to 2A / 10W.

The RDX2 / T100 has a 300 mA balance current, vs 500 mA for the T200. The T200 actually looks like a pretty decent little charger:

Perhaps Hitec will sell a version of that at some point.

Ah, thanks for that, i missed the storage mode. Was gonna say, without that mode it pretty much felt useless. It is what I get for skipping to the specs part.

I do agree the T200 is a nice one.

Weight: 1.1 lbs. (50kg)

You get substantially more charger if you buy the metric version.

100W total charge split over two channels, just won't cut it.
FWIW, if you want a really small AC/DC travel charger, it's hard to beat the single
channel HOBBYMATE Speed H6. 200W charge on AC, and 700W on DC, 30W internal
discharge or 700W regenerative discharge.
Only issue I have with it, is a fairly loud fan, but I suppose that's expected with its
tiny 4x2.25x2.5" dimensions.

Hitec is nowhere near the brand they once were. Shame.

Looks cool, but at 50w per channel its pretty useless for all but the smallest batteries.
