There are so many things I like about this plane. Very creative. Well done.

Extra points for the DT song and shirt.

Anyway, in these pictures I'm showing you the older one, and before posting the complete plans I'd rather add some mods to improve its behaviour.

Hope you like it!!
that sir,is a beautiful peice of engeering!!!!Cant wait for the plans!!!

P.S did the plane in the video have thrust vectoring????

Well, it is not a "real" thrust vectoring, the electric motor is fixed, but it is powerfull and has huge control surfaces right behind (You can see it in the pictures), so the airflow of the motor is kind of "thrust vectored" in the end.

It uses a GWS EP7035 propeller

This is the motor: 36g, 865g thrust.

This is the Build Thread:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1071597

Its main troubles were the aileron control (Not enough, I was only using tailerons), nosy behaviour due to a bad AoA of the motor, extra large vertical rudders (Too much drag) and the upper wing needs an upgrade (one windy day it just blew up!). It is a parkjet to be flown on gyros (At least one on the canards for pitch).

I expect to be posting the plans in some weeks, I'm glad you like it!!

This is the AUTOCAD 2008 version of the plane (3D model) it proves good as a "build manual". I will draw the 2D version for the laser cut.

It is the first time I'm doing this, if someone wants to tell me which formats are better or how should I do it to manage the best results, send me a PM.

Cheers!

Here they come!

I've finished the plans, I post them in dwg for laser cutting, but I need to know the radius of the laser cut to set the lines so that the cutting does not spoil the joints.

This is the second version of the Hammermight, mostly the same as the first but with ailerons added and some other changes. I'm about to start building it soon. ^^

Here you have a great video of the plane filmed recently:

Hello, there were some parts missing on the Hammermight drawings I shared a few posts up.

I've changed them for the right ones, hope that will help.

BTW, I've already laser-cut myself one, check the Build Thread if you wish to hear the news:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...2#post16471530

Hope I'll finish it before Christmas.

Cheers,
Jandro.

I feel a lot better now.

I had heard some unfounded rumors that we lie and cheat also. I know we would never do that at any time.
