Although right now anything can happen, the news out of China is not good.

The plastic cases are the only thing made in China, and I am already looking at sources in Taiwan and Malaysia.

The plastic injection house is just now getting back to work. This means at least a month before I will have cases.

Probably the fall at this rate. The plastic injection house that came back has closed indefinitely. I don't think we are getting the full story out of China. Most of all of the sources we have used are still closed or have not responded to requests.

Hey Jim any update yet. I see another company is bringing dual power, three SBUS input to market soon but those of us that currently use your X10's and X24 are sure interested in your X16. Just something about having one built by a US company. Heck I'm even moving to US made servos. Sure hope to see the X16 soon.

I have pretty much given up on getting plastic cases made for anything until next year. So, I have designed the new X16 so that it is an open frame design (like the X10+ but with upper and lower protective thin circuit boards). I have reluctantly put it into production now that all of its parts are available.

I am not sure what product you are referring to but there are already options available, and there will be new options available in the future by others. In this industry there is always a market available, even with the same type of product. We just happen to build the best version.

Jim, happy to see you making progress with the X16. Do you have any idea when it will be available for ordering and what the price will be.

Price will be $99.95, but I don’t have a release date yet until we have them in house and tested they were built correctly. The first run of any new product always requires extensive burn-in testing.

We got the parts in today for sandwiching the boards together! I have a small run of prototype top/bottom boards coming as well to make absolutely sure everything fits together. This is where I really like a plastic case.

Jim, have you had time to type a manual for the X16?
Is the sequencer section the same as the X24?
