Question

Thunder Tiger 46 Pro

I need a carb for a Thunder Tiger 46 Pro. Does anyone have one, or one that will work on it.
Thanks,
Mike

Can you post your case bore ID? I have one or two Perry standard carbs, (non-pumped) that may adapt.

Here is the web site (Below) for Perry, as RC Man showed its .515 O.D. Of Carb Neck and, .312 I.D. Of Carb Barrel.

I have 4 here in Sydney , Aus . Brand new never used . You can have one but I'm not paying the freight . I change my engines over to a 12mil venturie , same as a Nelson . The carb off the 36Pro also will fit and works quite well too .

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for the offer, any idea how much shipping would be to Tucson AZ. 85713?
Thanks,
Mike

Good carburetors, but they are the old style with straight out needle valve. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, as long as you keep your fingers out of the prop. If you don't get rid of all of them, I'll take one or two.

Let me know if you still need me to check the Perry carbs. Work schedule has me chasing my tail.

I found another 4 with angled NVA and whilst they are the same carb , and new , they are from the Pro36 and have a slightly larger spigot than the 46Pro . So would have to be machined to fit in the 46 venturie , not a huge problem as I make venturies for my 46s . I picked them up in a lot of Thunder Tiger and Magnum parts I acquired , hoping there might be some piston / liner /rods in it but only got 2 sets and most of it was for smaller 12-15-25 engines . Mike should have his in the next couple of days , but the post is expensive to your part of the world from mine , like about $ 40 Aus for 2 carbs . For a pensioner here in Aus that's a bit expensive I'm afraid Greg , but up to you !
