How can this event proceed given the current mandate from the California Governor?

Great concern for my flying brothers. STAY SAFE and travel with caution.....

Due to the Governors announcement for the entire state of California to Shelter-in-Place, I have made the tough decision to CANCEL this contest. My apologies for my knee jerk reaction last night, but my desires and beliefs are a minor point now.

Tim I think you made the right call. This virus is bigger that anyone expected and we don't want to see our friends sick. I know the decision was a tough one but we all want to fly next year so we all need to do our part now to help stop this now.

I know that was a tough call to cancel. We all would like our life’s to stay as normal as possible. For a lot of us, gliders and the fellowship that comes with it keeps us sane. I hope to see all of us at the fall event.
