Tai,

Close to the field , other than fishing and hunting, not much.

There is a place that does trail rides and is Airbnb in YREKA. They have three different houses on a 1000 acre ranch. www.doublehranch.net

40 minutes north off I5 is the town of Ashland. Lots of interesting shops, restaurants, and a park full of very eclectic people. The town of Mt Shasta is 30 minutes south. Since the weather is going to be great, Lake Siskiyou near Shasta is good.

And for full disclosure, at the north end of the field a few trees are looking to welcome a hapless DLG.

The address for registration is in the first post, and no cost for non participation unless you want to eat some excellent food. $10 for lunches and $30 for the dinner.

Go to f3xvault.com and search for West Coast Challenge and if you're going to make the trip you might as well fly in the contest. Where are you located in Nevada?

You may bring an RV or travel trailer. No hookups.

John surfaced yesterday with a definite “I should be there” for the contest.

It'll be great to see you! See if you can drag a few other BCers with you. It will be fun to show Webb what real HOG is like.

FF lift master...sometimes
Playing it as it goes now. Was going to reserve an RV to drive to this, but am now following recommendations for social distancing. I think COVID-19 might be overblown, but the precautions are warranted to minimize whatever the impacts might be.

Mario, thanks for planning this. If it doesn't work out for this May, I certainly hope it works out for 2021.
