Has anyone heard anything about CNR's USDs?

Same as above....

I heard about these months ago.... and it was said that by mid-february we'd see them... after that, no word...

As a matter of fact let's address all of the recent vaporware...

CNR USDs...
Brazimoto Motorcycle...
Brazimoto Riders...
Brazimoto Fairings/bodies...
Thinder Tiger nitro bike...
Kyosho HORs available in the 'States... (tower has them "on order" but most of the option parts are now "discontinued") My LHS got a couple in but that's it (The Hobby Place... West LA, CA 310-441-0075)

if anyone has any updates post here....

I just don't get excited about any of it until I see it. It would be nice to see some new body styles though.

Caught some pics of the TRD USD's, they are very nice. I think they are hydraulic?

Those look quite good. Though the suspension travel seems a bit short. But may be just enough for road bikes.

I have decided that my road bikes probably only need a cm or so of fork travel. That way you can use longer internal sliders and other mods to increase the stiffness of the forks, without worrying about having a whole lot of travel.

I tend to agree with you Steve. Alot of travel with uncertain damping makes for a boingy boingy bike! Not a lot of confidence in that. Providing the track is relatively smooth, I think short travel, stiff springs and at least some sort of damping is the way to go.
