Mostly kidding, it looks lovely and I built something similar in the days before AS3X and gyros, it flew but not well... 65 grams and with 1s brushless as many have asked for, might be a winner? Tommy |

Nice to see a new UMX on the scene and looks like it could have potential, but as Austin Powers once said “this just isn’t my bag, baby”.
Whenever I see something like this I always think is it really necessary for HH to plaster all the ‘Eflite’, ‘Horizon hobby’, ‘UMX’, ‘SAFE’, et al stickers all over the place? It just tends to make them seem so........so Wal-Marty. ![]() |

You would need an "update" for something as simple as this plane? Why not release it initially with everything worked out - not wait for complaints to make modifications? I was thinking this might be a port for programming so that the Rx could be used in scratch builts - like the UMX Cessna Rx can be.

I like the twin fin design, reminds me of the best plane I ever had the pleasure of flying. A foamy 64mm EDF F-35, now discontinued. It could do the lomcevak maneuver, simply by pulling up into what would usually be a stall, but it flew brilliantly with elevon and aileron control, and it looked fantastic, until I crashed it due to disorientation.
![]() Perhaps HH might consider a UMX F-35 ![]() |

I was just making a funny (note the wink) We will just have to see what will come about updates. I have updated AS3X in older bricks through an unlabeled port. This might be along the same line, maybe something completely different.

1S Brushless, thinking out loud well typing on a keyboard, wonder if the
set up can be used on the older UMX twins and single motor UMX jobs? Be great to 1S brushless the older UMs.... |

Larry Looks like the brick alone is $70, A bit pricey IMHO. |
