Back in my nitro heli days (right after the wheel was invented), we had a term for things like this: Head Mod: noun Definition: An expensive "upgrade" to a device that does not produce any empirically verifiable performance, reliability, or ergonomic improvement. Admittedly Hall sensors are more reliable and durable than old style potentiometer gimbals, but I have serious doubts that CNC gimbals actually have a better "feel." And to be completely honest the only reason I upgraded my X9E to Hall gimbals was because the left stick had significant noise at rudder center.. |

I can say the same about the pot gimbals in my QX7 and my FlySky Th9x. Other than some toy stuff, the only other radio I have with crap gimbals is an original Jumper T12. Good thing is I got it for nothing to beta test. I slammed it so bad that Banggood took me of of their list.. Their loss...

Yep. It wasn't as much Banggod as it was Jumper that I blasted. There is whole saga that includes some bad blood between OpenTX, Jumper, and FrSky. I also got banned from the Jumper web site..
I guess they buried the hatchet because the T12 and T16 finally got official OpenTX support. To be honest I'm glad that RM came along and snatched of a good portion of Jumper's market share. For me, the sad part is I was really pumped up about having a new inexpensive OpenTX radio coming to market, but as soon as I powered up the T12 and it said, "Welcome to JumperTX," I knew there was going to be trouble in Whoville.. |

FlySky Paladin EV sticks are not (yet?) available separately as far as I know, so you need to get Paladin EV radio and dissect them.
